CAMPS MISSION
ABOUT US
The CAMPS mission is realized through staff members who form a community of people working together. This community is made up of individuals who love Christ, have a personal relationship with Him, and a desire to live and spread His Good News. These individuals are dedicated to their own spiritual growth and to know, love, and serve Christ in many and convincing ways. Worship, personal prayer and devotions, faith sharing, and Bible study are part of their lives. They are unambiguous Christian disciples. They do not live segmented lives, giving some time to God, some time to school, work, or business, while keeping parts to themselves. They live their lives in the presence of God under His authority and for His honor and glory! This is what the Christian life is all about.
MISSION STATEMENT
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."~Colossians 2: 6-8
WHAT IS CAMPS?
CAMPS is a ministry to youth with a mission:
- That all participants come to a saving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- That Christian community be formed and lived
- That continued spiritual growth and commitment be fostered
SNOWCAMPS 2024
Finding the right top notch Christian event for your Junior High student isn't easy. The experience has got to be something they will enjoy, yet one that still moves beyond the fun and games to challenge and encourage them in their Christian faith. This highly concentrated experience is jam-packed with games, discussions, talks, singing and lots of new and different fun and crazy activities. Our goal is for Junior high students to see, hear, and feel that Christ loves them and wants them to know the joy of living life to the fullest! SNOWCAMPS is brought to you by C.A.M.P.S (Christ As My Personal Savior). The C.A.M.P.S youth ministry team has a 40 year history of providing creative, spiritual growth events for youth. Our SNOWCAMPS team includes youth ministers, adults, and high school youth from a multitude of parishes who know how to communicate a real-life Christian faith to kids - and they do it with an encouraging spirit and honest enthusiasm.
